On February 24th, the JSRC traded in their running shoes for dancing shoes and met at the Spring Lake Manor for an evening of food, music & fun in celebration of the camaraderie that we share as an organization, the wonderful year of races and events that we had as a club, and the good that we were able to accomplish across the Jersey Shore community. With nearly a quarter of a million dollars raised and donated in calendar year 2023, it certainly was an accomplished year! Many thanks go out to the organizers, volunteers, business and organizations who organized, donated and contributed in so many ways to a wonderful event. You all know who you are and you are gratefully thanked! Here's to the year behind and the year ahead for JSRC! For all the photos of our Winter Spectacular please click here

If you were'nt here, you missed a good one!!
The 4-mile road race, the Harry Drazin Memorial Racewalk, the petwalk, and kid's races. All went off without a hitch.
Runners had a cloudy, breezy, and slightly chilly run to contend with. And contend with that they did.
We had costumes, random prizes, awards, and an awesome BBQ and libations put forth by the Deal Firemen.
It was a day and a run that was beautifully orchestrated by Race Director Barbara Hanlon and her crew of JSRC supporters and volunteers.

As we put a bow on Summer 2023, it's the perfect time to look back at all the fun we've had as an organization during the supposedly lazy, hazy days of summer! Certainly not much lazing about with a packed schedule of volunteering opportunities, club races, area races and a few parties thrown in for good measure. The Terry Bolan 5K, The Navesink 4, Saturday in the Park, JSRC Day at the Races & The Belmar 5 are just a few of the events from this year. Check out the photos below for a quick glimpse of the summer fun!
