Due to the ongoing state of emergency, the Thursday Night Group Run is officially canceled.
No one will be getting the key to Taylor Pavilion.
Let’s not get in the way of Belmar’s snow cleanup. Thanks!

2018 Spring Lake Five Mile Registration opened on Sunday February 4, 2018 at 5:00am. and closed at 10:44am, when the limit of 12,500 runners is reached.

JSRC Winter Gala Beach Party | Saturday, February 24 | Spring Lake Heights
It's a SHORE thing!
Winter Gala Beach Party! Don't miss out!! Still a few spots left - send email if interested.
The annual celebration will be held at Doolan's Shore Club in Spring Lake Heights presented by The Jersey Shore Running Club! This year will feature a Beach Party / SHORE thing Theme - as we would all like to think WARM, SUMMER THOUGHTS! It's a Beach Party theme for fun but dress as you would for any Gala in the past.
Once again the gala will feature a live band and a a buffet style dinner. The traditional JSRC Cocktail Hour with acoustic music and butler-style hors d'oeuvres starts promptly at 7p.m. in the Atrium, followed by dinner, live music, dancing, a gift auction, a BIG $$50/50 and other FUN surprises! As always there is a four-hour open bar.

The 15th Manasquan Mid Winter Beach Run was held on February 17, with about 1,000 running the 2 mile event, on another great day.

5th Annual Asbury Park St. Patrick’s Day Parade March 11, 2018
- (Optional) Pre parade get together at Kim Maries on Kingsley and Sunset Ave at 11:00..
- Parade line up is Kingsley and 7th Ave 12:30; parade starts at 1:00
- Parade Route from start to Cookman Ave and ends at Asbury Park City Hall parking lot.
- PARKING - Parade participants may park for free in the parking lots on Fourth Avenue or Second Avenue between Ocean Avenue and Kingsley Street. Parking meters are in effect for on street-parking.

St. Paddy's 5 Miler
The Freehold Area Running Club's 29th Annual St. Paddy's 5 Mile was held on Sunday, March 18th
CONGRATULATIONS TO FARC AND TO ALL THE RUNNERS - AND THANKS TO VOLUNTEERS!
Here's a great chance to run a nice 5 local 5 Miler - at the Freehold Area Running Club's St Paddy's 5 Miler !
For those of you who've run past St Paddy's 10 Milers, some of those same quiet country-ish roads will be used.
And for anyone who's run past St Paddy's races, FARC Winter Series race and/or FARC Toys For Tots races - race starts and finishes at the same convenient location of Michael Tighe (Liberty Oak) Park, in Freehold (Georgia Road) - and as with all past FARC races, there'll be plenty of parking, convenient accessible "facilities" and plenty of post-race refreshments - both food and beverage.
St Paddy's races - as with all FARC races - always have great shirts and unique overall and age group awards
With a 28 year history, this is a great local club Spring race tradition to support and enjoy

Sad News - Ralph Aquino
Ralph Aquino Jr (Middletown) recently passed away at the age of 88 OBITUARY
A long-time member of the Shore Athletic Club and a veteran of the entire running community, Ralph completed 20 straight Boston Marathons and was inducted into the Shore AC's Hall of Fame. A regular fixture on the awards podium - he was a fierce competitor, but always a friendly guy and a gentlemen at races. A Veteran of the United States Marines and former employee of the US Army, Ralph was respected by his peers and friends not just for his athletic ability, but also (perhaps more so) for his friendship and class.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, March 22 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home in Middletown, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 23 at 10 am at St. Agnes Church, Atlantic Highlands. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Father Flanagan’s Boys Town, NE and St. Labre Indian School, Ashland, MT.
Rat Race Postponed new date March 31
The Rat Race, originally scheduled for March 24, has been postponed to March 31 - The Park was closed March 24th due to downed trees.

The 5th Annual Bar A Kilt Run/Walk & Party was held on March 24th, 2018 at 10 AM.

We always have a blast at this Two Mile Run/Walk thru Lake Como with a Great Party after the event at Bar Anticipation 703 16th Avenue in Lake Como, NJ.
The Snakes entertained us after the run with some Wonderful Music & Fun. Master of Ceremonies BJ whips up the crowd with giveaways and laughs!
