I want to thank the JSRC and my friends and supporters for a great birthday party and helping make a dream come true. For one week I was able to pretend I wasn't sick and I got to act like a kid in Disney world. Mickey Mouse and the whole gang said to say HI !
I hope to make a couple of races just to cheer you on, I no longer can even walk a 5K. I am on hospice and pain management and have oxygen, but I still can get out when I have the energy, when I do I'll be at the races.Thank you for your prayers and kind thoughts. Your friendship means a lot to me. Thanks. Beth Patterson

For the 19th consecutive year the JSRC has supported the Monmouth Ocean Count Special Olympics by volunteering our services in organizing and orchestrating all the track events at the Track and Field Event held at Toms River HS South. With nearly a thousand athletes competing from throughout the two county area it was a very memorable and successful event not only for the athletes but the volunteers as well.
Thanks to all the volunteers who gave selflessly in support of these very courageous athletes.
Many of these athletes will be competing at the State Games to be held in Trenton the weekend of June 6 based on their performances here. The Club will be marching in the opening ceremonies to be held at Sovereign Arena.
