The Monmouth-Ocean County Special Olympics Track and Field Meet will be held
Saturday, May 11 at Long Branch High School. We need around 30 volunteers to
help with escorting athletes, scoring, timing, awards and other tasks associated
with the event.
All volunteers should report to the Long Branch High School Athletic Complex
Saturday, May 11th and meet inside the Cafeteria by 8:30 for a brief
organizational meeting. There will be coffee, juice and other refreshments
there. The meet should run until around 2 or 3. If you will not be able to stay
for the entire time, please let us know during the meeting so we can ensure
coverage for all events.
Parking is available on Eastboure Avenue, just off Westwood Avenue. You can find a map here: http://goo.gl/maps/VKvVL
If you have any questions, please contact Michael Procopio (volunteers@jsrc.org). If you have school-age children who have a community service requirement, community service letters will be provided upon request.
The Club has assisted with this event for over 20 years. All are welcome.
