The start of this years Hashathon Six Mile Trail Race

A field of about 300 participated in this Year's Hashathon Trail Race held in Cheesequake State Park.  The runners were treated to some exceptional weather with bright sunny skies, cool ideal running conditions and little wind.  The course was a bit slick due to the rain the previous few days and the scrapes and minor bruises to several runners were proof of the challenging course through the trails in the park.

The overall winner shown finishing on the left was Dominick Grillo of Whitehouse Station in a time of.41:00   For the women the first place finisher shown finishing on the right was Laura Rhatigan in a time of 48:49..  Holding the finishing tape were special guests appropriate for the occasion.

Many random awards were presented as well as special awards in unique categories.

A preliminary One Mile Run was held prior to the feature six miler and many "mini hashers" participated.

After the race many of the participants celebrated their accomplishments with a party at a local establishment up the street which featured Goldenseal and the parting continued through the day.

Congratulations to Mark Griggs on another successful Hashathon and all the volunteers who were out there the day before in the rain setting up the course.

Among the many club finishers were:

Dennis Zelinski 5K
