Club Volunteer Opportunity
The Jersey Shore Running Club is looking for a JSRC
Volunteer Opportunity Coordinator.
This person would, in general,
1. Be the point of contact for people from the web who want to volunteer for JSRC events.
2. Maintain a list of event dates and times that have
volunteer opportunities for JSRC and match volunteers to opportunities.
3. Distribute those volunteer lists to the appropriate race director or
event volunteer coordinator.

The Start of This Year's Hashathon in Cheesequake State Park
Laura Rhatigan, of Brant Beach, the women's winner in a time of 48:10 on the left "running on the trail" and Joe Pawlish of Asbury Park the men's winner in a time of 38:45 breaking the finishing tape. Holding the tape were Diane Cheer and Joanne Dreicer.
Congratulations to Mark Griggs and all the volunteers who made for another successful Hashathon.

The Hashathon is all set to run on Sunday, Nov 13. Its a great trail race through the trails of Cheesequake State Park which is conveniently located off the Garden State Parkway.

little on the cool side and some wind greeted the runners at the George
McCormick 5K held in Lake Como. The men's winner in a time of 17:47 was
Eric Escorcia of Howell shown
on the left was and for the women on the right it was Nicole Donahue of
Wall in a time of 21:27.
Runners were treated to a Post Run Barbecue at Bar Anticipation. The sun was out so a good time was had by all.
