We meet every Thursday at the 5th Avenue Pavilion on the Boardwalk in Belmar at 6 PM where there is plenty of free parking by the lake

Volunteers Welcome - Read about the race

The club will again be assisting at the Spring lake 5 Kids Races on Friday May 26 and at the 5 mile Race on Saturday, May 27.  Volunteers are welcome and should report on Friday at 5 PM and Saturday morning at 7 AM at the Club's Orange Tent on Ocean Avenue across from the Essex and Sussex and see Jack or Diane Cheer.

Adidas Grand Prix

The Annual Adidas Grand Prix will be held at Randall's Island in New York City on Saturday, June 11.  Volunteers are welcome - its a great chance to get on the track up and close to some of the greatest track and field athletes in the world.  All volunteers get a shirt and a pair of Adidas Running Shoes.  Let Michael know if you would like to volunteer at volunteers@jsrc.org

Sunday Run

Group Run Info

Come out this Sunday for the Club's regular Sunday Run.  This is a must run for anyone contemplating a marathon this fall.  We meet at Bodman Park in Middletown and run along some really scenic back roads with very little traffic.  there are water stops along the way and liz always has some great post run snacks at the Club House.  Most people go out at 8 AM but some do get there early for longer runs and beat the heat in the summer.  All paces are represented and we do runs of 6 to 20 plus miles.  The standard run most do is about 10 miles.

Congrats to all who have received confirmation that they have been accepted into this year's NYC Marathon. The club will again be having busses to take runners to the start in Staten Island and then picking them up at Central Park.  Registration for the busses are now open - they fill up fast and price will go up as well.  If you have never done the NYC Marathon getting transportation is always a hassle - but with the club busses we take away a worry for you so you can concentrate on your race..
