
A windy morning for the First Annual Run with Eagles 5K held in the Allentown section of Upper Freehold. The course went through some scenic sections of Allentown to include rolling hills surrounded by horse farms to a finish in the park. The men's winner shown on the right was Jaime Mora of Trenton in a time of 17:20 and for the women it was JSRC's Karen Charles of Belmar shown on the left in a time of 19:34.
Winners received plaques and Complimentary Passes to Great Adventure.
Congratulations to Troop 180 and all the great volunteers for a successful first year race.

The Club's First Annual Remembrance Run at Holmdel Park eulogized members who have past away. The group was led by John MacGillvary and after the remembrance the group ran the Holmdel Cross Country Course. After the run refreshments were served in the park

The First Annual Club's Remembrance Run to be held on Saturday, March 24th at Holmdel Park. The run will remember Club Members who have passed away.
The Club's Wednesday Evening Run has started at Holmdel Park. We meet at 6 PM at the Visitor's Center where there are bathrooms, water fountains and a place to hang out. We generally stop at Perkins for a bite to eat after the run for anyone who is interested. Its a beautiful and challenging course through the park. We do from 3 to 6 miles and all paces are represented. Its convenient from the Parkway if you are coming home from the North back to the Shore - Please stop by - all are welcome.
The Start of This Year's St Paddy's Day 10 Miler
The weather was on the chilly side just below freezing with gusty winds for the Annual Freehold Area Running Club's St Paddy's Day 10 Mile Race. There were nearly 700 competitors in the 10 Mile Race that started and finished in Freehold Township's Tighe Park. The men's winner was Tim Mulligan of Whiting in a time of 53:01 followed by Hector Rivera of Clifton in a time of 53;11. For the women it was Diane Ross of Flanders in a time of 1:04:05 followed by JSRC's Karen Charles of Belmar in a time of 1:04:15:

The 500 plus runner's in this year's E. Murray Todd Half Marathon were greeted to some chilly weather and some heady winds as they made their way through the Lincroft Section of Middletown and Colts Neck.
The Men's Winner of the Annual E. Murray Todd Half Marathon was Stefan Kolata of Plainsboro (on the left) in a time of 1:13:03 followed by Dan Newman of Manalapan in 1:14:43 and Joe McVeigh of Convent Station in 1:15:20. For the women it was JSRC's Amy Nalven of Brick in a time of 1:24:42 followed by JSRC's Karen Charles of Belmar in 1:25:33 and Sherry Sikora of Succasana in 1:27:58.

Wednesday at Holmdel Returns on March 14 - Since Daylight Savings starts early this year we have an opportunity to kick off our popular Wednesday Evening Runs at Holmdel Park. The run starts promptly at 6 PM. Its a nice course with plenty of hills.
