Women
Runners participating in the Club's Women's 101 Running Program are getting
ready for the State's Largest All Women's Race to be held on Saturday, August
30th. This is one of the Club's longest running events and certainly a
main stay on the Jersey Shore Race Calendar.
Pictured are the two classes participating in this year's program.

It was a glorious Day in Pine Beach for the Annual Pine Beach 5K and 1 Mile Riverside Run. With over a thousand runners this race has grown to one of the larger 5K events at the Jersey Shore.

On Saturday June 21st 2008 Ryan’s Run, the sole fundraising event for the Ryan Andrew Kaiser memorial Foundation drew a crowd of almost 800 people. Great weather, great sponsors and fantastic runners make for a very memorable Ryan’s Run.
Over 150 people ran with us in our new 1 mile fun run and over 450 runners finished the 5k. Our kiddie races for children under 8 years old continues to be a parents favorite with great races and photo ops for over 150 kids.
Mario Gagliano Co-Director of Ryan’s Run, took a third in his age
group and had this to say about the days events; “Ryan’s Run and the
foundation are really a great tribute to Ryan and an inspiration to all parents
who have suffered a loss …. Not to mention they reminds all of us who
haven’t to be grateful for everyday we don’t have to face the same thing.
We feel we have created a moving event that attracts runners, families
and friends. Ryan’s Run is truly
a unique race, one not to miss”

It is not too early to start thinking about your transportation to and from the marathon.
The Club will again be offering busses to the start and a convenient pick up just outside Central Park again this year.
The busses will leave from the Commuter Parking Lot at the Red Bank Exit of the Parkway and make a stop at the Cheesequake Rest Area.
