Congratulations to Ira Wiss and Adrienne Steinway who were recently married on June 28. Adrienne is the heir to the Stienway Piano Fortune and met Ira at a Liberace Concert where Ira was checking out Liberace's outfits to add to his running clothes collection. Adrienne caught Ira's eye and it was happy ever after. After an extended Honeymoon Ira will be back on the running circuit and Adrienne is fine tuning pianos and at the insistence of Ira developing a line for runners which can be played while on the run. We are awaiting an official Photo. Since the paparatzi was excluded from the wedding pictures are extremely hard to get. Our crack reporters are hard at work and hope to scoop all the tabloids.
Congratulations to Shore AC and their Monday Night Classic at Lake Takanassee. Its a summer series which has lasted 40 years. The series will celebrate this Monday Night - check it out.

Carlos Morillo just completed the "running of the Bulls" in Pamplona, Spain. He did not report a time but he finished in front of all the bulls and made it into the stadium intact. He recommends this race to all JSRC as he is sure we would all like the course. Carlos can be seen in the lower center of the picture wearing the orange hat.
Anyone who is doing the NYC Marathon should be thinking about their transportation to and from the Marathon start and finish. A good choice would be the Central Jersey Road Runners Bus. It drops you off at the start and then you meet in a building directly across from the finish where there are refreshments. There are several busses so you don't need to wait until the very last person finishes. Friends and relatives can also take the bus and they can watch the start and meet you at the finish. The busses generally sell out so check out the CJRRC Web Site for more information and reserve your spot.
