We will again be "running" a "Kids Run the Nation" Program in Asbury Park this Spring. The plan is to start either the first or second Wednesday of March. The session will run from about 3:30 to 4:30 PM. We could use a few volunteers - you don't have to be there every week. If interested email to jsrc@hotmail.com. Please include a mailing address as all volunteers need to be screened this year - a State Law and you will be required to fill out a form that we will mail to you and get your fingerprints taken.
The Jersey Shore Running Club has donated $1000 to the American Red Cross for relief services in Haiti. Club Members are encouraged to support the efforts in any way they can. Most needed is money right now as the logistics of getting things there is difficult..
Shoes in good condition can be dropped off at Miles Ahead on Rt 35 in Wall or at the Running Store in the Grove in Shrewsbury.
Congrats to Amy Nalven and Bob Horn who completed the Empire State Building Run Up on Tuesday February 2..
