Cruise with a “Jersey Girl”
Join JSRC for this year’s annual three-hour tour and boat trip. This year we’ll be leaving from
a different dock and sailing a different inlet. Unlike Gilligan, we will return in three hours and
not six years, so there is no need to pack extra bags—a light sweater will do. Arrangements have
been made to sail on the “Jersey Girl” for Saturday, August 20th. Amenities include: a full-service DJ,
dancing, beer, (dancing beer?) wine, soda, a delicious riparian repast and a romantic boat ride under
a moonlit sky. If you’re planning on going, please make your reservation early and send Tom your
money before August 10th.
When: Saturday August 20, 2005. 7:00 pm on the “Jersey Girl”
Where: The “Jersey Girl” sets forth promptly from the Original Oyster Dock in the
Highlands Sandy Hook Bay Marina, 1 Willow Street, Highlands, NJ
Why? To sail the Sandy Hook Inlet and the Navesink.
Costs: The cost for this trip will be $30 for Club members and $35 for non-members.
Reservations: Yep, you need them, the boat can only take 100 people. If
you’re planning on going, please make your reservation early and send Tom your money before August 10th. You may send your
